Royal Canin® Puppy ProTech Milk is the first milk to give in case of difficulty at birth, based on colostrum (colostrum is the first milk produced by the mother just after giving birth), this first milk will provide all the antibodies the puppy needs to build its own immune barrier and become a healthy dog.

At birth, a puppy possesses its mother's antibodies, but it remains very fragile. Colostrum has high nutritional value to help it through the energetically demanding period of birth, and the antibodies will allow it to build its own immune system. These immune defenses will be essential throughout its life.

OUR RECOMMENDATION

Royal Canin® Puppy ProTech Milk contains three teats of different sizes and a milk bottle. Please use the teat that best fits your puppy's size to avoid any risk of ingestion.

Until they are ^three weeks old, puppies are unable to urinate or defecate on their own. The mother dog aids her puppies' digestion by licking their bellies, so it's advisable to mimic this behavior after each meal by gently stimulating your puppy's tummy with a soft cloth warmed to body temperature. This facilitates digestion and reduces the risk of constipation.
