Why are BAWAW products of excellent quality?
The BAWAW range was created in 2015 by a family of enthusiasts who love dogs, horses and animals, and who specialize in cosmetics and skin care.
In general, pet care products are subject to the CLP regulation which governs chemical mixtures. However, given that dogs do not wash themselves, that groomers have their hands in shampoo all day long and that we recommend that owners use most BAWAW products for themselves as well, we have chosen to comply with the cosmetics legislation.
Although more restrictive than the CLP regulation, we believe that it is also more qualitative, and that is what we want: to offer the best possible quality to our four-legged friends. Only products that are intended only for animals comply with CLP.
The scientific team that formulates and manufactures the products in the BAWAW range is led by two doctors in chemistry, also graduates in skin biology and cosmetology. BAWAW thus benefits from more than 30 years of experience in the formulation of cosmetic and parapharmaceutical products. Our laboratory designs, manufactures and ships your products itself for perfect quality control. Our range is formulated from very high quality ingredients, we pay particular attention to their choice and their origins.
It is clearly explained that our shampoos are based on natural active ingredients. We are completely transparent about the INCI composition of our products which is published on our website and on our labels, as required by cosmetic legislation, the COSMOS standard and the ECOSOINS standard for animals.
Constant evolution of the brand
Since 2015, BAWAW has been the first professional range to offer massage gels, balneotherapy treatments and skin regenerating products.
Always at the forefront of innovation and since 2019, BAWAW has signed its first professional products developed according to the COSMOS ORGANIC standard, certified by COSMECERT or ECOSOINS BIO for animals, controlled by the ECOCERT certification body.
Since 2024, the range has been expanded to include an eye contour cleansing gel and an ECOSOIN BIO animal ear cleansing milk.
